Yakubu Gowon Centre for National Unity and International Cooperation (YGC) is a private, non-profit making, non-partisan; Non-Government Organisation (NGO) set up to further the cause of Nigerian unity as well as promotes freedom from disease and poverty, where every citizen has an opportunity for self expression and the realization of their full potentials. As a result of major expansion in its Malaria Control and Eradication Program, the organization is looking for an outstanding professional to fill the following position in the Centre.

MONITORING & EVALUATION MANAGER
Specifications:
• Good first degree in statistics or other related numeric field. Possession of higher degree will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years active M&E managerial position in an NGO of progressively responsible, practical, international M&E experience.
• Proven success designing, specifying, implementing and operating standardized, automated M&E systems that are integrated into organizational operations.
• Excellent leadership skills with ability and willingness to effectively train, coach and mentor subordinate staff.
• Demonstrated ability to lead/oversee evaluations, reviews, assessments, data audits, etc to ensure proper use of the systems and to ensure compliance with internal and external standards of performance.
• Experience in the evaluation of development projects using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Must be able to use statistical software such as SPSS, Epi-info etc and working knowledge of new trends in M&E will be required.
